PVI Storage Tanks

Our traditional storage tanks are designed for supplemental storage for domestic water heating systems.

Specially designed tanks are now available for SOLAR thermal storage. These tanks are only available in AquaPLEX and include additional fittings for connection to solar collector circulation loops or sidearm plate-type heat exchangers. AquaPLEX enables the storage of water at 200°F, thereby maximizing the benefit of solar heating systems and accelerating the return on investment.

 

 Available with AquaPLEX®, a fully passivated, high-chromium duplex material that requires no lining. Naturally impervious to water corrosion and provides superior resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking compared to 316L stainless steel. ASME approved material.

Vertical orientation: 150 - 175 - 225 - 250 - 300 - 400 - 500 - 600 - 750 - 900 - 1000 - 1250 - 1500 - 1750 - 2000 - 2500 - 3000 - 3500 and 4000 gallons.
Horzontal orientation: 250 - 400 - 500 - 600 - 750 - 900 - 1000 - 1250 - 1500 - 1750 - 2000 - 2500 - 3000 - 3500 and 4000 gallons. (horizontal cofiguration is custom, consult factory)
ASME, section IV, part HLW stamped and National Board Registered.

All tank connections are non-ferrous and removeable. Lining protection is not compromised when pipe is threaded into fittings.

With AquaPLEX® engineered duplex alloy, standard tank warranty is 10 years with a 20-year option.
With NICKELSHIELD® nickel-plated tank, standard tank warranty is 10 years with a 20-year option.
With POLYSHIELD® polymer-lined tank, standard tank warranty is 5 years with a 15-year option.
