First-year, Cost-free Service Policy Summary
(standard coverage on most PVI water heaters and boilers)Coverage:
Ordinarily, warranties cover materials only and not the installation labor and freight for the replacement part. This PVI service policy supplements our materials and pressure vessel warranty by covering payment of labor and freight to correct a warrantable defect in materials, workmanship or components.Duration of Coverage:
Products are covered for 1 year from the date of factory-authorized startup or 18 months after shipment, whichever occurs first.Commencement of Coverage:
Coverage begins at date of factory-authorized startup of PVI equipment, or, if factory-authorized startup is not required, 90 days after PVI product ships from factory.Conditions:
Conditions and exclusions of PVI tank, heat exchanger, burner, and parts warranties apply to first-year, cost-free service policy.
