PVI offers a wide range of high-quality onsite and online training courses to enable you to represent PVI to the best possible extent and deliver maximum value to your customers.
Our hands-on, in-person courses take place in our new 2664 square-foot training lab and classroom section of the Watts factory facility in Fort Worth, TX, the home of PVI. The courses are designed to provide practical skills that you can apply right away and is comprised of a blend of classroom and hands-on instruction to cover the topic in depth.
On our online learning center platform, technicians can keep skills and certifications up to date through e-learning courses, videos and other helpful tools.

PVI Trained Technician (PTT)
Starting in August 2026, the PTT will combine the original PTT and Centurion Service Technical classes into a single, comprehensive course. This hands-on program covers PVI’s core product lines and establishes a higher baseline for training standards. Completion of this course is required for technicians and service companies seeking PVI factory certification.
Prior to August 2026, the PTT (2 1/2 days) and Centurion Service Technical (1 day) classes are offered separately. Together, these courses provide a comprehensive, hands-on introduction to PVI’s core products and are both required to attain PVI Certified Technician status.
Course length: 3 1/2 days
PVI Trained Technician (PTT)
A comprehensive hands-on course taking attendees through PVI's core products, raising the bar for PVI with respect to minimum training standards. This course is a required course for technicians and service companies who wish to claim that their technicians are factory certified.
Course length: 2 1/2 days
Centurion Water Heater – Service Technical
This course will cover the design, application, installation, components, controller, combustion calibration, troubleshooting, and provide hands-on activity to better familiarize the course attendees with the Centurion water heater.
Course length: 1 day
Conquest Water Heater – Service Technical
This course will cover the design, application, installation, components, controller, combustion calibration, troubleshooting, and provide hands-on activity to better familiarize the course attendees with the Conquest water heaters.
Course length: 1 day
Restaurant Vertical Technical Training
Course attendees delve into some of PVI's key products for the restaurant vertical, including Conquest, Brigade, DigiTemp Jr., Aquasolve. Attendees will be given an elaborate introduction to the products and learn all the ins and outs to deliver even more value to restaurant customers and related industries.
Course length: 1 1/2 days
Centurion Water Heater Overview
This course is for PVI reps only and will cover the design, application, installation, components, controller, combustion calibration, troubleshooting, and provide hands-on activity to better familiarize the course attendees with the Centurion water heater.
Course length: Half day
Water Sampling and Analysis
Learn how to take water samples and conduct analyses in order to specify the optimal water treatment solution at site. Participants are welcome to bring a sample from a problematic site for testing, analysis and review.
